Austin Voices for Education and YouthAustin Voices for Education and Youth
Austin Voices for Education and Youth mobilizes the community to strengthen schools and expand opportunities for Austin's youth. We work alongside community members, young people, parents, and educators to improve our schools and neighborhoods.


Lions QuestLions Quest
Lions Quest programs are school-based, comprehensive, positive youth development and prevention programs that unite the home, school and community, to cultivate capable and healthy young people of strong character, through life skills, character education, SEL, civic values, drug prevention, and service-learning education.


Region 14 Education Service CenterRegion 14 Education Service Center
Region XIV schools are called Rural West Texas Schools that serve approximately 50,804 students in 43 school districts located in 13 counties which make up Region 14. Services are delivered to 3,907 professional educators and 202 administrators who impact the lives of all of our children on 161 campus sites. There are seven institutions for higher learning including 3 universities, 3 colleges, and 1 technical college in Region 14.

State Farm Companies Foundation was established in 1963 as an independent private foundation. The Foundation is primarily committed to education, helping to raise the level of student achievement in our elementary and secondary schools, as well as supporting key higher education initiatives.


Texas Education Agency Texas Education Agency
The mission of the Texas Education Agency is to provide leadership, guidance, and resources to help schools meet the educational needs of all students. Located in Austin, Texas at 1701 N. Congress Ave., the TEA is the administrative unit for primary and secondary public education. Under the leadership of the commissioner of education, the TEA: manages the textbook adoption process; oversees development of the statewide curriculum; administers the statewide assessment program; administers a data collection system on public school students, staff, and finances; rates school districts under the statewide accountability system; operates research and information programs; monitors for compliance with federal guidelines; and serves as a fiscal agent for the distribution of state and federal funds. The TEA operational costs are supported by both state and federal funds.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department mission is to manage and conserve the natural and cultural resources of Texas and to provide hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation opportunities for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.


YouthLaunchYouthLaunch
YouthLaunch believes service is a powerful and effective strategy for positive youth development. We develop empowering service programs for young people, through which participants gain new knowledge and skills, form positive and influential bonds with peers and adult role models, improve their self-esteem and efficacy, and develop a strong sense of social responsiblity.
